
EXPRESS ENTRY
Overview
Express Entry is a points-based immigration system designed to streamline the process for skilled workers seeking permanent residence in Canada. It manages three key programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. By ranking candidates in the Express Entry pool based on a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), it facilitates the selection of top talent to support Canada’s economic growth.
Eligibility Criteria
- Federal Skilled Worker Program: Requires skilled work experience, language proficiency, education, and meeting the minimum CRS score.
- Federal Skilled Trades Program: Requires experience in a skilled trade, a valid job offer or certification, and meeting language requirements.
- Canadian Experience Class: Requires at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada and meeting language proficiency standards.
Application Process
- Create an online profile in the Express Entry system.
- Enter the candidate pool and receive a CRS score.
- Await an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
- Submit a complete application for permanent residence within 60 days of receiving an ITA.
- Receive a decision and prepare for your move to Canada.
